My First Ever Blog!
Bobby’s Blog – Week One
Hello, heroes everywhere!
Welcome to my very first blog!
I’m Bobby Blaze, and I’m super excited to be here sharing part of my life with you. Starting this blog feels like the beginning of a brand-new adventure, and I can’t wait for us to go on this journey together.
The reason I wanted to start this blog is simple. I believe everyone needs a friendly place to visit—a place where you can feel encouraged, a place where you can feel inspired, and most importantly, a place where you can feel accepted for being exactly who you are. Because being YOU is your superpower.
This week I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude. Sometimes it’s easy to look around and wish we had the newest toys, the latest gadgets, or the coolest things for our birthday. I know I’ve felt like that before too. But I’m learning something important… it’s okay not to have everything. What matters most is being thankful for what we do have.
I watched something on TV this week that reminded me that not every child in the world gets to celebrate their birthday the way we might. Some children have very little, and that made me stop and think. It made me feel grateful—grateful for my family, grateful for my friends, and grateful for the little things that make life special.
I’ve also been learning about staying calm. Life can get busy. Really busy. School, homework, family, friends, clubs… sometimes it can feel like everything is happening all at once. But I’ve realised something: calm doesn’t mean nothing is happening. It means giving yourself space to stop, think, and breathe. Even taking a short pause can help. And when life feels loud, I try to slow down on the inside. That helps me think more clearly.
Another thing I’m still learning is how to focus. Sometimes my mind wanders. Sometimes I get distracted. And sometimes things don’t go to plan. But focusing isn’t about being perfect. It’s about gently bringing yourself back when your thoughts drift away.
And do you know what? That’s okay. Because heroes make mistakes too. The important thing is that we keep going, keep learning, and keep trying. That’s what makes us stronger.
So if you ever feel like you’re not enough, or things feel too hard, remember this: you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing. You just have to keep showing up. And that’s a real superpower.
Until next week, heroes—stay brave, stay kind, and stay brilliant.
Because not all heroes wear capes… some just keep trying.
Blaze On!
