Early Life
Arjun Singh, later known as Gravity Guru, was born in Amritsar, India, in 2011. His parents, Jaspreet and Harjit, raised him with deep Sikh values of courage, compassion, and resilience. From the moment he could talk, Arjun was endlessly curious about the universe — asking questions about the stars, the planets, and the invisible forces that held everything together.
When Arjun was five years old, tragedy struck. A sudden illness attacked his spinal cord, leaving him unable to walk. Doctors worked tirelessly to help him recover, but the damage was permanent. For many children, this would have felt like the end. For Arjun, it was the beginning of something extraordinary.
Childhood Symbolic Moment
One spring afternoon in Punjab, Arjun sat in his wheelchair watching other children fly kites. A sudden gust of wind sent one bright red kite crashing to the ground, its tail tangled in a tree.
The children gave up on it — but Arjun refused to look away. Reaching out with quiet determination, he imagined the kite rising again. To everyone’s astonishment, the kite lifted itself free, floating gently back into the sky.
The moment passed quickly, but Arjun never forgot it. That was the first time he realised he was connected to forces greater than himself — and that even when he couldn’t run, he could still make things soar.
Moving to Shetland
When Arjun was ten, his father Harjit was invited to work on Shetland’s renewable energy programme, focusing on tidal power. Hoping to give Arjun a quieter, safer environment and access to new medical support, the family made the bold move from Punjab to the Shetland Islands.
At first, Arjun struggled with isolation — new language, new culture, and the challenges of navigating life in a wheelchair. But slowly, he found peace in Shetland’s open skies and calm seas, which reminded him of the vastness of the universe he loved so much.
Discovery of Powers
One evening, while gazing at the stars through his telescope, Arjun felt something stir inside him. He reached out to comfort his mother, who was suffering from a headache — and with a gentle touch, he healed her instantly.
Soon after, he discovered another gift: the ability to bend gravity around him. Objects would rise, fall, or float when he concentrated, as though the invisible forces of the universe were answering his call.
Arjun realised his healing powers worked on everyone but himself. And he made peace with that truth. While others begged him to try, he always replied with a calm smile:
“I don’t need healing. I am already whole. My wheelchair doesn’t hold me back — it helps me see the world differently.”
The Extraordinary Eight
When Arjun met the Extraordinary Eight, he became their calm centre, their healer, and their guide. While his teammates rushed into action, Gravity Guru reminded them of patience, balance, and the bigger picture. His wheelchair was never a limitation — it was a throne from which he taught others the true meaning of strength.
Legacy and Message
Gravity Guru’s story is a beacon of hope for children everywhere. He shows that disability is not brokenness, but another way of being powerful. His healing touch and unshakable wisdom remind us that sometimes the greatest strength is in helping others, while accepting ourselves exactly as we are.
