Place of Birth: Out Skerries, Shetland

Early Life
Bobby Blaze was born in the remote island of Out Skerries, Shetland, in 2011. From a young age, he struggled with dyslexia. Words danced on the page, letters slipped out of order, and reading aloud in class filled him with fear.
Terrified that teachers or classmates would discover his struggle, Bobby made himself a invisable mask to wear in class. He joked that it was for fun, but really it was to hide the panic in his eyes when asked to read or write.
Because of this, Bobby failed most of his exams. Teachers thought he wasn’t trying, but Bobby knew the truth: his brain simply worked differently. And deep down, he believed his life would be bigger than exams.
The Hidden Fire
Bobby often imagined another version of himself — braver, stronger, and unafraid. This alter ego, Blazing Bob, wasn’t just a daydream. He was Bobby’s hidden potential, waiting for the right moment to ignite.
Discovery of Powers
That moment came one night when a fire broke out on the island. Smoke filled the air, and Bobby was trapped. Just as hope seemed lost, something sparked inside him. The flames bent away, and his body glowed with fiery energy.
In that instant, Bobby transformed into Blazing Bob — a superhero with powers far beyond the classroom. Alongside his loyal fire engine, Big Red, Bobby discovered his true destiny: protecting others and proving that being different is nothing to hide.
The Extraordinary Eight
Though Bobby once felt like a failure at school, he became the leader of the Extraordinary Eight. His dyslexia gave him more than struggles — it gave him creativity, resilience, and a unique way of seeing the world. His mask, once a shield of shame, became the mark of his courage.
Legacy and Message
Bobby Blaze’s story shows children that exams do not define who you are. Classroom struggles don’t mean you can’t succeed in life. His dyslexia, once his greatest fear, became the spark that lit his extraordinary journey.
His message: “I am more than my grades — my true power is blazing inside me.”
